Coastal Valley Soccer Club

The Central Coast is made up of many smaller soccer clubs and each offers their own benefits and training programs.  The Coastal Valley Soccer Club (CVSC) is a strong supporter of all Central Coast clubs and we respect all that they do for the soccer community.

Coastal Valley Soccer Club offers some things that many others do not.  We are non-profit organization that offers club soccer at a competitive level and at a a reasonable cost.  While other clubs are in the business of making money, we are in the business of donating our time and training and coaching for minimal to no cost. 

All CVSC teams are given the freedom to select their own roster, their own coaching staff, their own budget and their own playing league and schedule.  We work together to raise money for our teams by hosting the Cool Summer Cup every June.  This tournament, along with our Fireworks sales in July, help CVSC teams to raise money for their travel expenses, uniforms, equipment and training. 

Most CVSC teams play in either the Central Coast Soccer League (CCSL) or the Coast Soccer League (CSL).  CVSC allows teams to chose the best playing circuit for their team.  Teams electing to play in the highly competitive CSL are required to play their home games at UCSB while those playing in the CCSL use Crossroads as their home field.  When it comes to tournament play, CVSC places no requirements on any of their teams, leaving each team to decide what works best for them.

Training within CVSC is primarily provided by volunteer coaches.  While some teams do have coaches or trainers that receive minimal compensation, the vast majority of our coaches donate their time and receive no compensation.  Once again, this is a drastic difference between CVSC and other soccer clubs.  In addition, CVSC currently has 8 coaches/trainers who are licensed at the USSF National D level or higher. 

The Coastal Valley Soccer Club currently has 14 active teams within our club.  We have extended our club to Nipomo and the Lompoc Valley where we now have three teams.  With the addition of teams in Lompoc, CVSC was also able to secure two new soccer fields for our teams to use for practices, league games and tournaments.  We are proud of our accomplishments, the freedom we give to all of our teams and the results that have been achieved by our teams over the years.  We hope that you will consider the Coastal Valley Soccer Club for your team or player.  If we can answer any questions you may have, please feel free to email us at coastalvalleysc@verizon.net
